Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity attended 207 missions across West Wiltshire in 2025. 

From Melksham down to Trowbridge, and from Bradford-on-Avon across to Devizes, we are there for those who need us most.

Patients from this area are often flown to an array of hospitals in Bristol, as well as the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

Carol from Melksham's story

Carol Gray was involved in a major road traffic collision when driving back to her home in Melksham and needed to be flown to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.

Supporting the local area

We are there for people across the West. 

Our helicopter and critical care cars attend missions from Winsley to Staverton, Staverton to Hilperton, Bowerhill to Seend, Erlestoke to Market Lavington.

It takes us around two minutes to fly to these areas.

Charity Shop in Devizes

We have a well-supported shop in Devizes, which raises funds to help us keep flying and saving lives.

Our shop sells good quality clothing, books, children's toys and many more items to browse through. The selections are carefully chosen by our dedicated shop volunteers and managers to provide the best quality items for our customers.
