Salisbury's air ambulance

Our aircrew are regularly called to incidents in Salisbury and across the South Wiltshire area, both in our helicopter and our two critical care cars.

Our airbase in Semington, near Trowbridge, is just a short flight to Salisbury and the South West. However, due to activity at Boscombe Down, sometimes we will have to make slightly longer trips to circumnavigate no-fly zones.

This includes to areas such as Amesbury and Tidworth.

Supporting your local hospital

During 2022 we transported 17 patients to Salisbury District Hospital.

Across the border in Hampshire, we also airlifted 13 patients to Southampton General Hospital.

A Unique Concert for Wiltshire

Join us at the historic Salisbury Cathedral to raise vital funds for key Wiltshire charities.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance, The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust and Youth Action Wiltshire will benefit from a unique concert from award-winning concert pianist Rupert Egerton-Smith, in performance with The Band of The Grenadier Guards and The Band and Bugles of The Rifles.

Recycling success

Members of the community in Salisbury set up Recycling for Wiltshire Air Ambulance in 2014. 

Lesa Snook and Sam Peters helped roll out the scheme across the county and they have so far generated over £88,000 for the charity.
