Summer at the Base

Join us for our first Summer at the Base event at our airbase.

Bring the whole family to our very first Summer at the Base event, which will take place on the front lawn of our operational airbase. You will have prime view of our helipad, and helicopter (subject to operations) as our crew attend lifesaving missions.

From midday-4pm we will have something for everyone, from activities for children to a wide range of local traders and food options.

Spend some time at our circus skills area. Come and learn how to juggle and plate spin. Have fun with diablos and devil sticks. Fun for all ages. All you need is willpower and a smile on your face.

Friday 9 August also marks National Blood Bike Day, and we are pleased to welcome Freewheelers as our special guests. The Freewheelers are a charity that work closely with us, delivering blood products to our airbase daily for our crew to use on their lifesaving missions and returning any unused products to Southmead Hospital, Bristol.

Just The 2 Of Us, Sue & Dee will be performing songs from 60s to present day in a 30 minute set at 12:30pm.
We can't wait to welcome them to sing for you.

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust

Charity Information Stand. We teach people about local wildlife and our local nature reserves, and offer ways for people to become involved with the Trust.

Handmade luxury products, wax melts, earrings, encased real flower earrings, one off coasters and magnets, other home fragrances, and other small items.

Louisebees
I sell my local premium honey from Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset in various sizes, plus other honey and beeswax based products like Honeygar, beeswax candles, honey soap, bee tea towels and greeting cards.

Prudhomme International (Halo Sports Ltd)
Italian & Caribbean cakes, biscuits, confectionery, chocolates and savouries, popcorn, olive oil etc. Summer Hampers including cheese/pickle (UK origin), Belgian chocolate options. Gluten Free sweet and savoury products.

We are a domiciliary care company that provides home care services to those over the age of 18 ranging to end of life.

Little Pink Door
A converted Horsebox selling coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks and snacks.

World of Thoodles
An imaginative adventure for adults and children, meet the 3D printed characters in all their forms. Whether that is stickers, art kits, or a little Thoodle friend to take home! Everything is handmade and crafted in Wiltshire.

Carer Support Wiltshire

We are a registered charity supporting unpaid carers in Wiltshire. We would like to promote our free services for carers in the area.

Unique pictures and cards from beachcombed items such as seaglass, driftwood, shells, pottery and pebbles. All items are sourced from UK beaches.

The Garden Bar

A mobile bar selling Hawkstone Lager, IPA and Cider (from Jeremy Clarkson’s farm). We also sell white, red and rose wine, a small selection of spirits with mixers, cans, bottled water and kids drinks.

Barchester Healthcare – Cepen Lodge

We run a residential care home in Chippenham for the elderly and people living with dementia, but in addition to this we host a number of community events to support people living in our local community and reduce social isolation.

Please note: heavy rains may mean we have to cancel the event. We will aim to give you as much notice as possible if this is the case. If there has been mild rain leading up to the event, please wear sensible footwear. We are called Outmarsh for a reason. 

Only assistance and service dogs will be allowed on site.

As we are an operational airbase, please be very aware of the road as the critical care car may be deployed. Please also be responsible for all your property and litter. If anything is left on the ground it could become a potential risk to the aircraft. With this in mind our volunteers will be collecting anything left unattended throughout.
