CycleFest @ Castle Combe

Gear up for a family friendly day of cycling fun.

An incredible opportunity to cycle around the Castle Combe Race Circuit with your family and friends. Open to all age ranges and cycling abilities.

The family cycle runs on the main Castle Combe race circuit from 11am until 4pm - and you can take part in as many laps as you want. Why not set yourself a target?

We will have a whole host of activities to keep you entertained including:

Cycling proficiency
Bicycle safety checks
Children's activities
Chat with local cycling groups and charities
Learn about local family friendly cycle routes
Meet the Wiltshire Air Ambulance mascot

We will also have four live shows throughout the day from the incredible RPM Biketrials Display team! Rich Pearson’s RPM Bike Display Show has been wowing crowds for the last seven years everywhere from Glastonbury Festival to working with Disney and Redbull. The show includes technical mountain bike trials stunts and skills along with interactive commentary and - almost - guaranteed laughs.

There will also be a host of stalls to browse and food and drink vendors on site.

Why not set yourself a challenge and take on our Sportive road ride?

Alongside this family fun day, we have a challenge element in the form of a Sportive road ride.

From 8am at Castle Combe, join our collective of cyclists for either a 20-mile or a 62-mile road ride around the area, finishing back at the track to enjoy the rest of the family day.

Click here for the map of the route and once signed up we will send participants the GPX file of the route. Routes may be subject to change if roadworks or any other route issues occur between now and the event date.

Buying tickets to a Wiltshire Air Ambulance event helps fund our lifesaving work, but please note:

This event will proceed in bad weather such as rain. However, in event of Met-Office weather warnings being issued, the event may be postponed, and all valid tickets will be honoured for the new date. All person/s attending the event should come appropriately dressed for the conditions.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or returned.

For cyclists

Participants need to bring their own road worthy bicycle and wear suitable safety equipment (helmets must be worn at all times, failure to do so may result in being denied entry onto the racetrack or being able to join the road ride).

Sportive ticket entry also enables the participant to enter the Castle Combe race circuit family event.
