Charity of the Year

Choose us as your Charity of the Year

Choosing to support your local air ambulance over a set period of time will bring real benefits to your company and employees. Increase awareness of your brand and demonstrate your commitment to your local community, bring people together under a shared commitment to the cause, inspire employees to form friendship bonds, involve your staff, suppliers and customers and make a real difference.

You can raise funds by any method you feel comfortable with. From challenge events, quizzes, bake sales, events planned by yourselves to taking part in activities organised by Wiltshire Air Ambulance, the fundraising possibilities are endless. And you’ll have fun every step of the way!

A Charity of the Year partnership can run for as many calendar or financial years as you wish. And, even if you’re a large company that has a national chosen charity, you may also want to choose us as your local charity to support.

Engage your staff and help us raise vital funds and awareness for the most critically ill and injured within our region.

Fundraising with your team can be fun and rewarding. Many of the businesses that support us hold regular or one-off fundraising events.

Whether it’s a pub quiz, family fun day, golf day or bake sale, events like these play a crucial role in keeping our helicopter flying and saving lives.

We can provide support materials, such as collection tins, posters, banners, information leaflets and branded merchandise.

If you’re organising an event, our mascots Wilber and Marsha may be able to attend. Plus, our dedicated team will be on hand to support you along the way.

Take on a new challenge, or beat your personal best, and fundraise with TeamWAA. It’s a great way to build team spirit within your company or organisation.

We put on a variety of events every year. From It’s a Knockout and Zombie Apocalypse to the Bath Half Marathon or skydive, there will always be a challenge to achieve.

We change up our events programme every year and are always on the lookout for new challenge events to get involved in.

Your company could encourage employees to take on these challenges by offering to match fund any money they raise.

This is a fantastic way to highlight your philanthropic and supportive business culture to your employees, and it doubles the donations made to the charity, which doubles the work we can do.
