Queen Camilla first became a Patron for Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust in 2009, when she held the position of The Duchess of Cornwall.

In December 2018 Her Majesty officially opened the charity’s new airbase in Semington, near Trowbridge, where she met with guests, including former patients whose lives were saved, along with the pilots, critical care paramedics, doctors, charity staff and volunteers.

Earlier this year the Queen attended A Unique Concert for Wiltshire at Salisbury Cathedral, a Wiltshire Air Ambulance event held in conjunction with The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust and Youth Action Wiltshire, which generated over £100,000 for good causes.

The announcement comes on the first anniversary of Their Majesties’ Coronation.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance chairman Rob Kevan said: “Her Majesty has always taken a keen interest in our charity and we were honoured to welcome her to our fundraising concert in Salisbury in February.

“Our charity is so well supported by the public and local businesses, and we are really pleased to have the continued patronage of Queen Camilla.”
