This collaboration aims to support the lifesaving work of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, as well as enhancing community engagement and local charitable fundraising.

In January 2024, new owners acquired the estate with the aim of elevating Hartham Park Estate, a Georgian mansion from the 18th century, for everyone using the venue.

By joining forces with Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Hartham Park Estate is taking a step further in its commitment to making a positive impact in the local community.

The charity provides essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in Wiltshire, Bath, and surrounding areas, operating up to 19 hours a day, 365 days a year. It costs £4.5 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives – with funds raised solely from the public and local businesses.

To launch the partnership, Hartham Park Estate has announced it will host The Hartham Summer Festival on Saturday 13 July. The event allows people to enjoy a fun-filled family day for free at the venue, with the opportunity to donate to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

There will be face painting, a treasure hunt and lots of games. Adults can enjoy champagne, strawberries and cream, whilst watching Wimbledon from the glamorous surroundings of The Ballroom.

There will also be a Stické competition for local businesses, where all entry fees will go to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Matt Slade, group managing director of Lucent Investment Group, owners of Hartham Park Estate, commented: “We are so happy and proud to be partnering with such an important local charity in Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

“We had an opportunity to see the helicopter up close recently and meet the charity’s amazing team, learning about their operations and the importance of their work in the community, which inspires us so much at Hartham Park Estate.”

Wiltshire Air Ambulance deputy chief executive Barbara Gray said: "Partnering with Hartham Park Estate provides us with a wonderful opportunity to engage with the local community in new and exciting ways.

“Not only will the partnership help raise awareness of our lifesaving work, the funds raised will help keep us flying and saving lives across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.”
