Your local air ambulance

Wiltshire Air Ambulance attended 43 missions across East Wiltshire during 2023.

Covering from Marlborough to Pewsey, we are there for those who need us most.

Patients from this area are often flown to an array of hospitals in Bristol, as well as Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

Julia from Marlborough's story

I was treated and flown to hospital before a land ambulance would have made it to the scene.

It's remarkable when you think about it like that. It took just under 15 minutes from the first call for the helicopter to land.

Supporting the local area

We are there for people across East Wiltshire.

Our helicopter and critical care cars attend missions from Ogbourne St Andrew to Ramsbury, Great Bedwyn to Burbage, Woodborough to West Kennett.

It takes us between seven and eight minutes to fly to these areas.

Carols in Marlborough

During 2022 we held our first-ever Carols by Candlelight event at the stunning chapel at Marlborough College.

A sell-out audience of around 700 people were in attendance just a few days before Christmas.
