Education

It all starts with one coin.
We want to educate Wiltshire's young people about our charity, what we do and why, so in 2015 we initiated our education programme. The programme includes the importance of keeping safe and how to, as well as educating young people on what we do, the lives it changes and how it operates, which incorporates fundraising and how to do it. We deliver the education programme at no charge to schools and colleges in Wiltshire.

The offer to schools differs from other organisations in that young people really LEARN about what we do. There are various ways to get involved:

  • Talks, with videos designed to provoke thought and conversation and to tap into the Personal, Social and Health Education. These talks are ideal for PSHE days and raising awareness of what we do.
  • 'H' for schools - fill an H with coins for our Airbase Appeal
  • 500 Challenge for Schools - we will give you £50 to turn into £500
  • Choose us as your Charity of the Year
