Wingwalkers, 24-hour workouts and safari suppers boost fundraising!

Our charity relies on donations to provide our lifesaving service and here is a round-up of some of the fundraising undertaken by our supporters recently.

We welcomed our Corporate Wingwalkers to the airbase to celebrate their achievements of taking to the skies for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, raising significant funds.

Others who visited our airbase included;

Charity of the Year supporters New Era Fitness passed on the incredible funds raised from their recent 24-hour Titan Workout.

Organisers of the annual Urchfont Festival visited to hand over another bumper cheque.

Stacey Taylor from corporate supporters Herman Miller ran the Bournemouth Half Marathon and presented proceeds from her challenge.

Chippenham & District Metal Detecting Club kindly handed over two cheques to our charity.

We had sporting visits from Norwest Bowls Club, Swindon Croquet Club and Devizes Tennis Club for cheque presentations.

Garry Myatt’s collections of charity events – dubbed Garry on a Mission – produced a fantastic sum to present at the airbase.

White Horse Dance Challenge visited to present a cheque, as did the fantastically named Safari Supper group, who held a series of food events in one night, including our own pilot Rob Collingwood.

We also had visitors from Lechlade Lions, Lechlade K9, RAF Police Association and Action Youth Wiltshire for cheque presentation.

Altogether the fundraising above totals more than £37,000 and are just some of the donations we have received from our valued supporters.

Remember our charity is not funded directly by the Government and receives no National Lottery grants.
