Our Critical Care Paramedics will continue to attend emergencies from the Wiltshire Air Ambulance airbase in Semington. Appropriate precautions will be taken at the scene of incidents to protect our team and our patients.
However, in line with Government advice, the airbase will be closed to the public for the foreseeable future. Our charity team is running with a limited staff base, all working from home.
Charity staff can be contacted by email only via firstname.lastname@example.org. As the charity office is not manned at the airbase, phone calls will not available at this time.
If you have raised funds for the charity, cheques are still being received by post. Alternatively contact the charity team for bank transfer details. If you have a collection tin or bucket, please hold on to these for the time being.
Following recent Government directives to assist with the containment of COVID-19, the charity has taken the tough decision to postpone all of its events until the end of May, namely the Abseil (was 25 April), 30th Birthday Ball (was 9 May) and Skydive (was 31 May). We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. We will be in contact with everyone who has booked places for the above and new dates will be announced in due course.
We have also postponed all Emergency Awareness Training bookings for all Wiltshire schools.
For the foreseeable future our charity shops - in Devizes and Westbury - will be closed to the public in order to protect our staff, volunteers and customers. We kindly ask that donations are not left outside the shops during the closure.
We will continue to provide updates via the charity website and our social media pages as and when new guidance becomes available.Back to News
