in 2019 more than £14,000 was raised for the two charities as runners donned Santa hats and Rudolph antlers to dash around Swindon's Lydiard Park.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, last year’s event was turned virtual. But on Sunday 5 December 2021 the event returns to Swindon.
Participants are being asked to run, walk or jog either 3km, 5km or 10km. You can choose to don a Santa hat or Rudolph’s antlers – and additional festive fancy dress is encouraged.
Registration opens at 8.30am, with a special Zumba warm-up set for 10.30am. The races start at 11am.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance community manager Cas Loudon said: "It's great to be teaming up with Swindon Phoenix Rotary Club and Brighter Futures again.
"The Santa Vs Rudolph Run is a hugely popular event with families and after the event had to go virtual last year, we’re all very much looking forward to its return to Lydiard Park in December."
Participants each receive a bespoke medal once they’ve completed their run.
Entry costs £12 for adults (17+), £9 for children aged 16 or under, with juniors under 4 able to take part for free. There is also a special offer price of £25 for a family of four (two adults, two children).
