Family fun day, music festival and corporate golf challenge

Our charity relies on donations to provide our essential lifesaving service and here’s a round-up of some of the events that are raising funds for us in the next few weeks.

Join Coleview Community Centre for live music, fairground rides and a BBQ for their family fun day on Saturday (7 September).

Fancy a wander? Former patient Luke Dark is holding a 14-mile walk from Bath Hospital to our airbase in Semington during Air Ambulance Week.

Hall and Woodhouse, Wichelstowe, are holding a free 12-hour music festival! Join them from midday on Saturday 14 September for their first beer, cider and music festival, featuring a large number of local bands.

Alternatively, on the same day, Andrew Hurst and Chloe Jordan will be hosting an evening of classical entertainment on Saturday 14 September in the Devizes Corn Exchange.

On Saturday 21 September Rygor Commercials of Westbury and Rocking Horse Nursery of Melksham are holding the 2019 White Horse Walk - find out more here. The walk will give participants the opportunity to enjoy a stunning 13 mile walk (or run/jog if they would rather) through the Wiltshire countryside, followed by a BBQ at Blackland Lakes.

The Wiltshire Golf Club will be hosting a corporate golf challenge on Wednesday 25 September. Entry costs just £10 per person (two golfers per company), with a prize giving buffet afterwards. Email for more details.

On Saturday 28 September a special helicopter open day is being held in Chippenham. As seen on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and BBC News, Maria Merry has converted a helicopter into a home cinema. Go along and see it and also take part in the raffle to raise funds for our charity.

Finally, the New Inn presents Cabbage Sunday, a farmer’s market and auction on Sunday 29 September. Enjoy market stalls, face painting and a charity auction in Winterbourne Monkton.
