We provide an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) throughout the county and beyond.
It's about saving lives

We operate up to 19 hours a day and attend, on average, 3 potentially lifesaving missions in that time. We are called out to all kinds of emergencies, from road traffic collisions to cardiac arrests, child-related emergencies to horse-riding and cycling injuries.

We attend incidents like these across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties too.

About Us
In 2015 we became a standalone air ambulance, since then we have continued to grow and have now moved into our purpose-built airbase in Semington. Read more about our charity and find out how we are able to do the work we do.

Meet James Hubbard Trainee Critical Care Paramedic "The nature of the incidents we attend often means the work is very dynamic and demanding. I enjoy the challenges of the role and it is very satisfying when you know you have made a difference. Meeting patients again when they visit the base after their recovery is a real privilege.I feel very fortunate to be part of a great team of experienced clinicians and pilots and of course, I’m very lucky to be able to fly around Wiltshire as part of my job!"
