We provide an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) throughout the county and beyond.
It's about saving lives

We operate up to 19 hours a day and attend, on average, 3 potentially lifesaving missions in that time. We are called out to all kinds of emergencies, from road traffic collisions to cardiac arrests, child-related emergencies to horse-riding and cycling injuries.

We attend incidents like these across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties too.

About Us
In 2015 we became a standalone air ambulance, since then we have continued to grow and have now moved into our purpose-built airbase in Semington. Read more about our charity and find out how we are able to do the work we do.

Meet Keith Mills Trainee Critical Care Paramedic "I have been a qualified paramedic since 2005 and spent time overseas with the military before joining the South West Ambulance Service NHS Trust full time in 2012. I love being part of an incredible team who strive for excellence. Every single person aims to deliver the best possible clinical care and it's an honour to be a member of my new surrogate family."
