We provide an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) throughout the county and beyond.
It's about saving lives

We operate up to 19 hours a day and attend, on average, 3 potentially lifesaving missions in that time. We are called out to all kinds of emergencies, from road traffic collisions to cardiac arrests, child-related emergencies to horse-riding and cycling injuries.

We attend incidents like these across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties too.

About Us
In 2015 we became a standalone air ambulance, since then we have continued to grow and have now moved into our purpose-built airbase in Semington. Read more about our charity and find out how we are able to do the work we do.

Meet Jo Gilbert Critical Care Paramedic "I joined the Ambulance Service in November 1998, working out of Swindon Ambulance Station and also working at Marlborough and Malmesbury on a road ambulance.  I qualified as a Paramedic in 2001. The thing I love most about my job is the opportunity to help people and to make a difference. Every second is different. Also, I have a great view from my ‘office’ window." Meet the team
