We were dazzled by the visit of Martin West, in his colourful jacket, and colleagues from M Lettings, based in Cricklade. They visited our airbase to present a donation from their Christmas raffle. They have supported us this way for the last three years and will be doing so again this Christmas.
People who moor their boats at Caen Hill Marina near Devizes had great fun taking part in a quiz night for us and they visited our airbase to present the amount raised.
The Beaufort Hunt raised funds for us at their team chase at Sherston in March including a bucket collection and our volunteers sold Wiltshire Air Ambulance merchandise.
Melksham Without Parish Council awarded us a grant towards our vital work and Des Regan, key corporate account manager and interim fundraising manager, received the cheque at the council’s annual parish meeting.
We also received a donation from Box GIG (Gentlemans’ Interest Group) following a talk that our paramedic James Hubbard gave to them. Members of the group visited our airbase recently to present the donation.
Finally, members of Salisbury Football Club supporters group visited our airbase to present money raised from bucket collections and cake sales held at the ground last year.
Altogether these donations have totalled over £3,500.
We are so grateful to everyone who supports our charity and value every donation.
It costs £3.75 million a year to keep Wiltshire Air Ambulance operational and saving lives – that’s just over £10,000 a day.
Remember, our charity is not funded directly by the Government and receives no National Lottery grants.
