Volunteers - How You Can Help We really need you NOW
	Christmas Cards We are looking for volunteers over the Christmas period from around mid October to the Christmas week who are free to help sell Christmas Cards. We use a charity called Cards for Good Causes who distribute the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal Christmas Cards to various Tourist Information, Libraries, Community Centres and Churches for them to sell on our behalf. In order for our cards to be sold in certain premises we need volunteers to help in the running of these shops. This year we are looking for volunteers who are able to assist in the Marlborough and Salisbury area. Volunteers would be expected to commit to assisting in the shops once a week for 2-4 hours (either morning or afternoon) and will be given full training on what’s required. If there is any one who is interested in this then please contact the appeals office for information. We are also looking for more help in our Westbury shop if this is of interest to you then please contact the appeals office or Mrs Dot Whitehead at the shop.

	Collection Tins Are you looking to help the Air Ambulance in some way? We are in desperate need of any help that you are able to give to us. Below are ways in which you can help from just 1 hour a day. The Wiltshire Air Ambulance has hundreds of collection tins that need the old labels removing & relabelled. The tins then need a number written on them for security & we can deliver and collect the tins from your home if necessary. This job would help the appeal run a more efficient office and we would be extremely grateful for your assistance. 	Supermarket Collections We need volunteers to attend a supermarket in Chippenham in August for a Saturday from 9 am to 5pm, this could be for just one hour or as much as you can manage & we will try to make sure you have another volunteer with you at all times, perhaps you have a friend that would like to join you? The supermarket collection days are only given out on average once per year to any charitable organisation so we really need your help to have a good attendance. You will be provided with a volunteers ID badge for the day, an Air Ambulance tabard, buckets, literature, pictures of the helicopter & stickers everything you need to show the Wiltshire Air Ambulance needs the donations.

	Events The Wiltshire Air Ambulance is often invited to have a stall at various events around the county. The stall will be provided with items for sale for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance which can be delivered and collected from your home address. We can provide literature, stickers & posters to show the invaluable work of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Can you help? You would be provided with a volunteers ID badge & tabard for the day. Why not give us your contact details and we can telephone you when events are happening in your local area to ask if you can assist our fundraising. It can be a very enjoyable day out.

	Speakers Are you a confident public speaker? We need volunteers to attend local groups to talk about the work of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. This would include a Powerpoint slide presentation; full training and information would be provided by Air Ambulance staff. Talks are often held throughout the day time or evenings and full information & details will be given to you.

	Cheque Collections After individuals, groups and organisations have raised funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance they ask for a representative of the Air Ambulance to go to them & receive a cheque on behalf of the charity. Could you do this? This would entail attending places, collecting a cheque, possible having a photograph taken for the local paper & saying thank you to everyone for their hard work in raising the donation. We are looking for presentable, well mannered volunteers to help promote the charity in a good light could this be you?
