You can make a difference

We rely heavily on volunteers across Wiltshire to act as our representatives. Volunteers play an essential part in the Appeal. It is very important to the Appeal to keep administrative costs as low as possible. This means that every penny possible goes straight into the fund to keep your Air Ambulance flying.

So why use volunteers?

Volunteers will know about events and be local to the area they cover. This helps the charity and keeps expenses to a minimum. Being local, a volunteer is able to spread the word about the work of the Air Ambulance and raise awareness.

By giving your time as a volunteer you show commitment to the people of Wiltshire and will be a valued member of a great organisation.

Volunteers can undertake a wealth of different roles - each one playing an important part in keeping the Air Ambulance flying.

Volunteers can help us in so many ways such as attending events, helping to establish a local supporter group or by joining one of our existing ones, helping at collections or flag days, or by helping to service our collection boxes. You would have your own small area to look after, or you could help us by just giving a "home" to one of our collection boxes. Volunteers can also help us by attending cheque presentations or perhaps by giving a talk on the work of the Air Ambulance.
