Lillia Calthrop Memorial Golf Day
Here are the details for our 4th charity golf day, held in memory of Lillia.
We hope you are able to take part and look forward to seeing you on the day. Lillia was our lovely little girl
who was born on February 27th 2007. Sadly Lillia was born with a very rare and incurable lung disorder
called Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia (ACD).
She spent a week in intensive care at
Bristol Children’s Hospital battling bravely to stay alive before tragically passing away in our arms on the 19th March aged just 3 weeks.
Raising money for the remarkable organisations that cared for her seems like the best way to help keep her memory alive.

| 11th & 12th September 2010 - West Kington Nurseries Giant Plant Sale |

West Kington Nurseries Ltd is holding a huge plant sale days on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September 2010, with catalogue proceeds going to charity.
Always a popular event people from miles around come to benefit from quality plants at bargain prices. It’s a fun day out for all the family, as children will be able to meet Bath Alpacas and there’ll also be refreshments available, including delicious bacon and egg sandwiches - all contributing to a great atmosphere!
There will be expert advice on hand and thousands of plants on offer at what is probably the largest plant sale in the soutgh. Stephen Slade, specialist professional horticulturalist, will be hosting a special troubleshooting stand to answer any questions.
Doors open at 10 on Saturday and 11 on Sunday so come early to avoid disappointment! |
| 1st - 2nd October 2010 - High Jump Event at Dauntsey Park |

The High Jump event starts off with 10 top showjumpers and event riders competing against each other to see who can win the £500 prize money. Whilst this is going on our volunteers rattle buckets to raise donations for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. In 2009's event the rider and horse managed to continue until the fence was up at 6'1''! Last year we raised £2,000 for the charity with an event that was kindly sponsored by Malverns Estate Agents (www.malverns.co.uk).

The Wiltshire Air Ambulance is often invited to have a stall at various events around the county. The stall will be provided with items for sale for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance which can be delivered and collected from your home address.

We have recently all been on
a team building day paintballing at Warminster.
We had a great day and would like to say thanks
to Skirmish for a very enjoyable day, we fully
recommend the site for anyone interested in

£1000 was raised
by members of the Urchfont Scarecrow group, who
have an
annual scarecrow trail to raise money for WAA.
