| Leave
a Legacy |
| Legacies
are a vital source of income for the appeal. The charity
understands that we only receive this special donation
because of someone's loss and we endeavour to deal with
these sorts of donations and the families making them
with sensitivity, care and compassion.
There
are several ways in which you can support your air ambulance
in your will: |
| 1. |
Make
a residual gift
After making provision for your family and friends you
leave the remainder or a proportion of your estate to
the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal. |
| 2. |
Make
a monetary gift
By leaving a specific amount by way of a cash donation. |
| 3. |
Make
a gift in kind
You could leave a gift of property, shares, jewellery
or any other items you wish to our charity. |
| 4. |
Ask
for family flowers only
Many people request that at their funeral they would like
family flowers only. They request other mourners to make
a donation to us. |
We
would recommend that you visit a solicitor or financial
advisor in order to make a will or to make an amendment
to an existing one. If you want to add a legacy to an
existing will, this can be simply done by drawing up
what is known as a codicil which is simply kept with
the original of your will.
