WILTSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE CLOTHING AND SHOE BANK SCHEME

If every household in Wiltshire donated one large bag of old clothing and shoes to the WAA, it would generate over 2,000 tonnes of recyclable goods per year.
Devizes Textiles work with local authorities and charities under the unique Recyclatex Bonded Textile Bank Scheme, and currently supply winter and summer clothing to East Africa, West Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Not only will this Scheme generate much need funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, but with the help, support and generosity of the people of Wiltshire, it will help produce a small regular income for the Charity.
The more locations that we have the more successful the scheme will be, so if you have a location which you feel would be suitable for a Clothing Bank to be sited and can easily be accessed by the General Public to make their donations, then please call the WAA Charity office on 01380 739453 or email info@wiltshireairambulance.co.uk. |
